THE ACCIDENT

24 August 2007. My life changed forever. Just in front of the university, I was hit by a minibus. Thanks to God, there is a hospital very near to where the accident happened. After the accident, I had a cerebral hemorrhage. But the worst part was that my neck was broken. My C4 bone had been smashed. The doctors only gave me a 5% chance. I was on a respiration machine for 9months. Against all odds, I survived. I have difficulty breathing because my lungs are now very weak, and I cannot move. But I am alive. I survived.
